Summer Retreat Scheduled

AAUW Summer 2007 Planning Retreat

Please mark your calendars for our annual summer planning retreat. The 2007 retreat is scheduled for Saturday, July 21st at the University Center Club on the Florida State University campus from 10 AM to 1 PM.

The retreat will take place in the Faculty Room on the 6th floor of the University Center Club. A working lunch is part of the program. The lunch cost will be $17 per person and will include gratuity and tax. Only checks or cash will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to Patricia Green-Powell. Lunch payment should be given to Treasurer Jo Conte upon arrival.

Please RSVP to Josephine Newton at 575-1638 or Rachel Sutz Pienta at dr.sutzpienta@yahoo.com by July 13th. Please indicate your lunch choice when you RSVP. Lunch choices are as follows:

Meat Option: Magnolia Trio Salad
Cathleen’s chicken salad, Albacore Tuna Salad and Pasta salad. Served with a freshly baked croissant.

Vegetarian Option: Vegetable and Boursin Wrap
Fresh greens, tomato, cucumber and boursin cheese spread on a tomato wrap with your choice of pasta or fruit salad.

All lunches include freshly baked breads, iced tea, coffee, and a selection of hot teas.

10:00 Welcome and opening remarks with task assignments
10:15 Members meet in committees to work on annual goals and programming
11:00 General Meeting with committee reports
12:00 Lunch with discussion questions
12:45 Closing Remarks

Continuing, returning, and prospective members are invited to attend the retreat and luncheon. Exciting programs have been discussed at our summer board meetings and committee chairs can’t wait to share their ideas with you!
